If God did exist what would you ask?
Many people have questions about the meaning of life such as, If God does exist why is there suffering?, Isn't Christianity about blind faith, where is the evidence?
Whatever your questions the Alpha course is for you. The Alpha Course provides an opportunity to explore the meaning of life and the Christian faith in a relaxed, friendly environment.
What's involved?
Each evening consists of a meal, followed by a short talk, covering topics such as 'Who is Jesus?', 'Why did Jesus die?', 'How can we have faith?', 'How does God guide us?' and 'How do I pray?' After the talk there is opportunity for small group discussion about the evening's topic and any other questions you may have - no question is too simple or too hostile!
When?
The next Alpha Introductory Evening is on Tuesday 29th September 2009 at 7.30pm at the Middle Brook Centre, with live music, a meal, a short introduction to the course and feedback from previous guests. Alpha Courses will begin the following week, both at the Middle Brook Centre.
The Alpha evening course will run on Tuesdays 7.30-9.30pm, starting 6th October.
The Alpha daytime course will run on Friday mornings 10-11.30am, starting 9th October. (There will be a creche available at this course.)
