John Groves
John moved from Kings Church Hastings in June 2002 to become Senior Elder at Winchester Family Church.  He is married to Marian and they have three adult children.  John is responsible for the vision and direction of the church and oversees leaders at various levels.  He also serves the wider family of Newfrontiers churches with his prophetic and teaching gifts and has a regular involvement with churches in India, Nepal, Portugal and Russia.  Marian works as John’s PA and is also involved with various aspects of pastoral church life.

Steve Chick

Steve moved from King's Community Church Southampton in October 2009. He is happily married to Annette and they have two teenage children, Meg and Joe. Steve is currently working closely alongside John Groves and will be taking over as the Senior Elder in June 2010. He also serves as part of Guy Miller's apostolic team working within the Newfrontiers family of churches. Originally from Swansea, Steve has been engaged in full time ministry for over 10 years.

Neil Keyworth
Neil joined the team in 2001.  He is married to Sarah, who works as Neil’s PA  and they have 5 children.  Originally from Sheffield, Neil ended his career as a Medical Scientist in order to take up a full time Eldership role in the Church.  He has responsibility for the oversight of the Leaders and Supervisors of many of our Community Groups and is also responsible for the development of family related projects, such as the Marriage Course and Parenting Course along with oversight of our Youth Ministries.

David Thompson
David joined the team in 2003.  In 2006, he ended his career as an electronics engineer to serve the church as a full-time Elder.  As well as some preaching and teaching responsibility, he has oversight of the Leaders and Supervisors of many of our Community Groups and also oversees the welcome and integration of newcomers into the life of the church.  He is married to Ali and they have two sons.  Ali is the Manager of the Winchester Pregnancy Crisis Centre and is involved with our personal counselling ministry in the church.

David Lockyer
David joined the Eldership Team in 2008.  He is married to Amber and they have two young children.  David & Amber have been involved in the life of the church for several years and spent time living in India and Nepal helping to establish churches with which we have ongoing links.  Currently, along with some preaching and teaching, David’s responsibilities include bringing vision and direction to the home & overseas Mission and Outreach initiatives of the church and he still makes regular visits to India and Nepal.
